The M.D. of Opportunity (M.D.) wishes to obtain proposals from qualified Proponents for the Lagoon and Servicing Upgrades located in the Hamlet of Sandy Lake (HSL).

The current Sandy Lake Wastewater Lagoon consists of one evaporative cell. There are no facultative, anerobic, or storage cells that service the HSL. To meet population growth within the community the HSL is looking to provide these cells along with a gravity sewer pipe from the lagoon to a discharge point at a nearby creek.

The project also includes construction of a new access road.

Major work items for this contract will include the following (approximation):

1. Supply and Install (2) Anaerobic Cells, (1) Facultative Cell, and (1) Storage Cell;
2. Incorporate the Existing Evaporative Lagoon into the effluent disposal system;
3. Supply and Install Pre-Cast Manhole and Gravity Sewer Pipe;
4. Supply and Install Septage Receiving Station;
5. Supply and Install Chain Link Fence;
6. Construct Lagoon Access Road;
7. Site Grading and Surface Works;
