The Town of High River (Town) is requesting proposal submissions for the pre-selection of a wastewater treatment technology for the Town’s Wastewater Treatment Facility (WWTF). Upon completion of the review and evaluation of the proposals, it is the intent of the Town to select a treatment technology for future purchase, procurement, and installment at the WWTF. The purchase and procurement of the selected treatment technology is anticipated to occur between 2024 and 2027. The purpose of the RFP is to qualify a supplier whose wastewater treatment technology will be incorporated into a design submission for the Town’s EPEA (Environmental Protection and Enhancement Act) approval application. By responding to this RFP, each Proponent thereby acknowledges that it has reviewed the process, terms, conditions, and reserved rights contained in this RFP, and has voluntarily chosen to participate in this RFP subject to those processes, terms, conditions and reserved rights. It is the Town’s intention to select a wastewater treatment technology which will be procured and purchased at a later date for installation at the WWTF. The treatment equipment will be installed by a General Contractor retained by the Town at a later date.
