Project scope includes but is not limited to: Replacement of sanitary main and manholes, abandoning an 
asbestos cement watermain, watermain reconnections, closure of the service road intersection and 
construction of a cul-de-sac, and installation of thermoplastic pavement markings to include dedicated left-
hand turn lanes on 57th Avenue.

As 57th Avenue is the main north/south arterial and the main route to the local hospital and thus cannot 
be closed. Traffic cannot be directed through local neighbourhood roads east of 57th Avenue. As part of 
this submission, Contractors will include references to past projects where traffic accommodation was a 
major component.
