RFP Title: 2026 – 0188 Central Trunk Sewer Upgrades Phase 1 

This project is for the purpose of contracting construction services for the abandonment of existing sanitary sewer lines, replacement of the sanitary sewer trunk main from Archie Klaiber Trail to the sewage collection box south of Slater Road, and the replacement of road surfacing within the proposed construction area. The Site of the Work of this Contract is located in the Town of Strathmore.

Main scope items:

  • Supply and Installation of Fourteen (14) Type 1S (1.2 x 1.2) SRC Manholes 
  • Supply and Installation of approx. 250 m of 750mm Class IV Concrete Sanitary Main
  • Supply and Installation of approx. 700m of 900mm Class IV Concrete Sanitary Main
  • Highway 1 Auger Bore Crossing (1220mm casing)
  • Highway 1 Crossing - 750mm PVC c/w Casing Spacers
  • Abandonment of Existing Sewer Trunk and Manholes 
  • Tie into Existing Sanitary Sewer Manholes
  • Tie to Existing Sanitary Mains
  • Concrete Pad Removal and Replacement
  • Surface Restoration
