Work involves the installation of a new bridge culvert to replace Bridge File #74284 located 10 km northwest of Elkwater, Alberta (SW22-9-3-W4), with a new 2.25m dia. Poly Coated Corrugated Steel Pipe (CSP) culvert by 41.5 m invert length at 1.6-degree LHF skew.

The scope of work for this project includes, but is not limited to, the following: 

• Traffic accommodation
• Site isolation and care of water (if required), including Fish Capture and TSS testing.
• Removal and disposal of the existing bridge file culvert
• Excavation
• Supply and Assembly of the new bridge file culvert
• Backfill including common (and potentially borrow) and granular backfill material.
• Heavy rock riprap erosion protection including type B geotextile filter fabric.
• Roadway work, including Granular Base Course and Gravel Surfacing
• Permanent environmental protection devices

Unless otherwise specified, the Contractor must supply all materials necessary to complete the Work. A complete job is called for, therefore any labour, material, equipment, tool or incidental item not specifically mentioned, but necessary for completeness will be considered incidental to the Work, and no separate or additional payment will be made.
