The Town of Coaldale is requesting submissions for Qualification of Contractors to bid on the:

TOWN OF COALDALE

TREATED WATER RESERVOIR AND PUMP STATION

Major work items for this contract will include the following general items (approximation): 

Coaldale Pump Station and Reservoir

• Below grade, cast-in-place concrete reservoir (approximately 8,200 m³)
  • Two chambers
  • Cast in place walls and base slab
  • Concrete pre-cast cover system
• Potable water pump station building (approximately 250 m² ) including:
  • Vertical turbine distribution pumps supply and installation,
  • Process mechanical piping supply and installation,
    • Stainless Steel and PVC process piping
    • Process control valves and instrumentation for reservoir fill and discharge 
    • Distribution pumping system connection
    • Regional potable water measurement and monitoring
  • Building mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation
  • Backup power generator
  • Precast concrete building 
  • Lower level dry well/pipe gallery,
• Civil site work, including:
  • Grading and landscaping,
  • Gravity sewer trunk connection and extension,
  • Connections to upstream and downstream regional potable water supply pipelines (by others),
  • Connection to Town of Coaldale potable water distribution network.

The intent of this qualification process is to allow the Town of Coaldale to rate and select eligible Contractors that will bid for the construction of the above-noted project. 

Through this request for qualifications the Town of Coaldale seeks to ensure that companies that bid on this Contract have the experience, skill, ability, resources, bonding, integrity, and safety requirements needed to complete the specific work of this project.
