Description: 

The main items of work for this project include the following:

  • Replacement of two (2) vertical turbine pumps with two (2) new 15 HP vertical turbine pumps complete with new concrete pads and VFDs
  • New stainless steel distribution header piping, valves, and flow meters
  • Addition of a 150 mm diameter butterfly valve to the existing reservoir fill piping
  • Addition of a check valve to the reservoir overflow pipe
  • New 50 mm low flow reservoir re-circulation bypass line
  • Replacement unit heater
  • Replacement actuators for existing generator dampers
  • New control panel, installation of PLC, HMI
  • New Instrumentation
  • Temporary water supply (bypass pumping or connection to Regional Water Line) to service the Village potable water distribution system during any pump station shutdowns required by the work
  • Reservoir expansion joint repair (Optional Work)
  • New 50 mm low flow night-time bypass line (Optional Work)
  • Supply of PLC, HMI (Optional Work)
